Provisions Summer Pop-Up Series: New Inciardi Print Reveal

Join us for a workshop in basic hand mending with Audrey Danser from Salvage Studios!

In this 1.5 hour class, participants will learn the basic techniques of hand sewing for a mending application. Participants will learn the basic tools needed to compile their own mending kit, how to thread a needle and tie knots, the 6 basic hand stitches for repairing clothes, and how to sew on buttons, snaps and clasps. All supplies will be provided for the class. Participants are encouraged to bring one or two basic items (missing buttons, unraveling hem, popped seam) from their closet needing repair, and we can apply our new skills to repairing them.

We’re very excited to share the newest print added to our machine in partnership with @inciardi!

Every dollar collected from this machine will be donated to one of our local environmental and community-based partners: AgroEcology Commons. Our Patagonia Provisions team will also be sampling our brand new grass-fed & finished bison sticks all afternoon, so come through!

How To Attend

Each surprise print = $1. Please bring quarters for the machine or we can make change for cash.

There will be a $10 maximum per person this weekend.

Ana Inciardi

Ana is a relief printmaker and the creator of the Mini Print Vending Machine. She’s from Brooklyn, New York, and is based in Portland, Maine. Food has always inspired her art as it connects her to the people she loves most: her friends, her Italian American family, and her wife, Addison, an organic vegetable farmer. Accessibility was her goal when developing the Mini Print Vending Machines, which price each mini print at one dollar. Now, her machines can be found all across the country, with more being added each week. Brands Ana has partnered with include: HBO, The Whitney Museum, Books Are Magic, Rachel Antonoff, The Boston ICA—the list goes on. She feels very fortunate to have built a career and life around the celebration of food, eating, accessibility, and community.
